Ashraf is the Principal Software Engineer responsible for key technical aspects of both the product and services teams.
Before founding Provility, Ashraf spent most of his professional career in the United States as an Enterprise Architect, designing and delivering large-scale enterprise systems for leading Wall Street, fintech, and Fortune 500 organizations. He later worked as a Senior Architect in HCL Technologies' Center of Excellence for Architecture, providing architectural consultancy to global enterprises across the United States and Europe.
During his tenure at HCL Technologies, Ashraf received the O2 League of the Extraordinary award for 10 consecutive years, until he left the company.
Ashraf has written articles for Java.net, a leading Java technology portal, and contributed code to Mule, the industry-leading Java Enterprise Service Bus. He has also published peer-reviewed mathematical articles. His expertise spans enterprise-scale, high-volume transaction processing systems as well as sophisticated user interface algorithms involving complex mathematics, combining deep technical expertise with a passion for elegant engineering solutions.
